David here, ready to talk about all things love, laughter, and happily-ever-afters! As a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of capturing countless love stories all across the UK and after a few years at numerous special weddings let me tell you, it never gets old!

I have photographed a lot of weddings and over time I have built up a reputation for putting everyone at ease allowing you to celebrate your day to the absolute max. I’m all about capturing the love, laughter, tears and everything in between. My goal is to give you photographs that will transport you right back to how your day felt.

I understand you’ll want to spend as much time with your loved ones as possible. At some point though, you’ll want a few romantic and creative photographs of the two of you. (No cheesy posing here, and that's a promise!) But rest assured, these will not take long at all, giving you more time with your nearest and dearest.

From charming countryside estates to sleek city venues, I've seen it all and loved every minute of it. If you're in the mood for some wedding inspiration or just want to see some pretty pictures, then why not check out my wedding galleries, or read a blog post or two. They are jam-packed with helpful tips, ideas and things to consider before your big day!

Anyway, let's talk about your wedding day!

As a photographer, my mission is simple - to capture every precious moment of your wedding day with as little intrusion as possible. I believe that the best moments are the ones that happen naturally and so I prefer to let the magic unfold on its own. Whether it's the look on your partner's face as you walk down the aisle, the laughter of your friends and family during the speeches, or the stolen moments of affection between you and your other half, I'll be there to capture it all.

"For us, things couldn't have turned out better. David was absolutely awesome, he made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. It was a pleasure to have him as part of our special day and a real treat to get to know him. We look back over our wedding photos and are filled with happiness and love at the memories that he was able to capture."

"David's a brilliant wedding photographer. We chose him because we loved his natural, candid style which worked perfectly for our beach wedding. The photos are beautiful and the colours/tones are exactly what we were hoping for."

David was exactly the type of photographer me and my husband could of hoped for. We didn't want a too much of the usual standing around and adding/taking people away for different posed pictures, we aren’t a very serious or overly publicly affectionate couple and he catered to that perfectly! All of our guests have complimented us on our choice of photographer. David is alot of fun to work with whilst still managing to be professional and get every shot. He was incredible with all of the various ages of children at our wedding too. We will be recommending him to all our friends and family and hope to use him again.

"Really pleased I found David for my wedding. He created the right relaxed and warm atmosphere, as I was worried that having a photographer would feel stuffy at a small wedding. Instead, he was friendly and personable, and several guests have since commented on how nice the photographer was."

"David is a brilliant wedding photographer and conscientious professional. Both well-organised and flexible, he took the care to meet our specific wishes and came prepared with creative ideas of his own. He also provided a charming and relaxed experience for our guests. I was very pleased and impressed with David’s ability to capture such warm, memorable photographs on a brisk winter’s afternoon in Oxford city centre. Highly recommend!"

The Best Wedding Venues In Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire is packed with so many stunning wedding venues. From luxury hotels to barns, and everything in between. When choosing the right wedding venue, take your time, visit them, and get to know the place. Speak to their wedding planners, as they will give you all the information you need. Check out some of my favourite wedding locations that Buckinghamshire has to offer. There are many unique wedding venues spread across Buckinghamshire, that are sure to impress you and your wedding guests.

Endeavour Woodland Weddings

Your own private woodland wedding venue…

The Endeavour venue is located in a secluded woodland setting on the edge of Milton Keynes providing you with the most amazing natural backdrop for your wedding day. It is a family-run venue offering bespoke wedding packages to suit everyone. The joy with the woodland venue is that they host weddings in the great outdoors; with lots of space, fresh air and sunlight.

It’s a truly unique woodland wedding venue: Surrounded by trees and nature, you can celebrate your special day outside among the trees. A walk along a woodland path leads into the wedding glade, with a walk down the aisle to the Oak archway where the ceremony takes place. It’s a fantastic venue run by equally brilliant people and I would highly recommend taking a look at their website below and visiting the venue in person! Scroll through some of my highlights at the venue below too.

Plum Park Manor

A cherished family home turned idyllic wedding venue in Towcester

Plum Park is a privately-owned boutique hotel and wedding venue set in rolling Northamptonshire countryside, 2 miles south of Towcester and just over 5 miles from Silverstone, the home of British motorsport. The Victorian manor house and courtyard are surrounded by manicured parkland and formal gardens. The manor house has been lovingly restored to its former glory while the courtyard has been sympathetically converted into luxury hotel accommodation.

For more intimate celebrations, the garden room and reception rooms in the manor house are ideal. The lawns, terraces and outdoor bar are perfect for entertaining guests in the summer months. You can see some of my wedding highlights below scrolling left and right. The grounds have lots of lovely photo spots when you decide to break away from guests to have more relaxed and candid photos. Check out that greenhouse!

Manor Farm Barn

A beautiful manor house and barn set in Marsh Gibbon

With amazing views across the countryside and the backdrop of a historic country house, the beautiful wedding venue provides the perfect location for a rustic, country wedding. It’s just a stone’s throw from St Mary’s Church and a 10 minute drive from Bicester and it has everything you could possibly need for an incredible wedding. Hold your drinks reception in the beautiful walled garden before sitting down to a banquet in the 16th century barn.

The barn can comfortably seat from 75 to 120 guests for barn weddings meaning you can enjoy your wedding surrounded by all of your closest family and friends. It’s a gorgeous venue and I would highly recommend taking a look at their website below and paying the venue a visit in person. Take a look through some of my highlights at the venue below too.

A Brief History of Buckinghamshire

The historic county of Buckinghamshire has been in existence since it was a sub-division of the kingdom of Wessex in the 10th century. It was formed from about 200 communities that could between them fund a castle in Buckingham, to defend against invading Danes. The name itself means ‘the district (scire) of Bucca’s home’ – Bucca’s home refers to Buckingham, the name for an Anglo-Saxon landowner.

Buckinghamshire is notable for its beautiful countryside and natural features, including the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Stowe Landscaped Gardens near Buckingham, and the River Thames. The Ridgeway Path, a long-distance footpath, passes through the county. As a wedding photographer based in Buckinghamshire, it's a real treat to have all of this on my doorstep!
